engine bogs down***help

ok so it just started tonight but under hard acceleration at around 5000rpm the engine bogs down but if you drive normally its fine as long as you dont get into high rpm i just got the car and was going to do a tune up this weekend but any other ideas or suggestions?

Sounds like timing or air. I guess it could be fuel, but I doubt it.

it ran fine for a few days though. and now it doesnt want to rev past like 2000rpm and cant go any higher then 2nd gear but i did notice when i turn the headlights off it will rev higher..oh and it almost wanted to shut off on me at a light the idle droped a lot

Now it sounds more like an alternator/battery problem.

fuel pump mine did the same thing a while back just get another from the junkyard oem nissan pumps are the shiz and there cheap
