ENGINE Blown!!!

So my engine blew up yesterday for the second time. My question is should i rebuild or is there a place where i could buy a whole engine? i have a 89 so its a single slammer but i would like to upgrade to a kade.

Oh forgot to mention it has 240,000 miles ....

People sell spare KA for about 300 I think.
The condition would be a hit or miss though.

You could try to rebuild everything with OEM parts though.
I know CourtesyNissan sells OEM pistons and what not, and FRsport also sells engine parts.

People throw out single slammers, but its kinda hard to do a conversion if you're strapped for cash or don't know your way around it. There are diy's on switching everything over. Maybe you can get someone to help you out who has done a motor swap before. Don't rebuild, it cost way to much. To time consuming. You can get a KA and what you need to swap over for about $500?

Ok so where can i find a dohc engine at ill have 800 dollars or so in a few weeks and my buddy is a good mechanic.??????
