engine blow by?

I have heard of people say, taking the engine oil fill cap off and air coming out is a high of extreme engine wear. Being my 240 has DOHC i wasn't sure if the air coming out was normal air disturbance from each cam excaping out the filler hole.

check the compression. sounds like the people mean the air is leaking compression. if the compression meets factory specs, and the car is running fine, dont mess with it.
