Hey, Lookign at buying new bearings and not sure which to go with
Looking at the ACL and just regular OEM bearings.
I was thinking about doing the EP Racing bearing coating aswell
Any ideas?

I would ABSOLUTELY go with OEM. In my opinion, there is no reason not to. You can choose the right grades with OEM bearings as well. I don't think any aftermarket companies have that same grade system. Engine building is tedious, and the more exact you are the better off you will be. Although the bearing grades from the factory have very minute differences, I think it is worth it to choose the specific grade Nissan designated for your engine.

I think the whole set (rods and mains) was like $130 from Z1 just a few months ago. And they will give you whichever grades you ask for.

Make sure you plastigage before you put the oil pan back on :)

im shooting for 600whp with the motor im building,
can oem bearings take that?
I was thinking OEM bearings with the EPR coating, i just dont want something to break down the line have have to replace it

I'd say try to look at some of the build threads on here to find some similar power goals and seeing what bearings they used - whether it's listed in the thread or just PM the person who built it. I think OEM should be fine. But ask around!
