Hey guys i'm planning on doing an engine build up for boost on an extra ka24de that I have. My question I have is what engine bearings I should use on this motor espically for if i'm gonna turbo it? I found ACL bearings and Clevite bearings. Is there anyone one using this bearings? I would appreciate all the input. Thanks.

ACL and clevite are good aftermarket bearing manufacturers. I trust them for motor rebuilds. In fact, I'm running ACL bearings in my SR right now.

j/p

seriously I am n/a now due to the fact I had a brain fart and my oil feed wasnt tight all the way... son asked me to do a burnout in the turbo piggy, I did and it took the line off. Turbo went without oil for about 1 mile and that was enough to kill my exhaust seal, now I need to order one and take my turbo apart. But on the bright side my boy just came off some ebay header for free so being n/a for a bit wont be as bad

bearings held up because they are clevite, I think nissan bearing would have failed in the situation I had, motor was EMPTY...

I have run clevite in my SR20DET for 2 years and I track it almost every weekend and run high boost preasures. I also run 80psi of oil preasure on hard excelleration. 60-70 cruise and 40-45 at idle. Lumpy cams cause it to fluxuate at idle about 5psi.Peter
