Hey guys I know that I have not been in a very long time, but transferring out to a bigger university is taking up all my time. Anyways, I got my hands on a gallon of engine cleaners and dress also a 2 large cans of vinyl dresser. These are the products that Nissan uses to clean their cars to put them on the show room. The best part I got all this for free from a friend that works there. My question is how do I spray my car engine at the car wash with the pressure washer? What parts need to be covered and how do I cover them? Do I need to be worried at getting my Place Racing Style Intake wet?

Thanks In Advance. I am really looking forward to use these products and see the out come.

I am going to use these products on my 1995 Nissan Maxima SE

1. dont do it if the engine is hot...you could crack a head or the block.

2. dont directly spray the FUSE boxes...cover them with a thick rag.

3. avoid direct spraying on the coil pack cover...the part that is painted black with the carbon fiber NISMO badge below VVV

4. don't spray directly on the back side of your headlights...you'll shove water into the seal.

HAVE FUN...anyone else wanna add, if i forgot anything

cover any electrical connections, your car is getting old and those connections will probably let water in and we dont want that. cant think of any now and am a lil drunk so ill give you a list tomorrow. Search this has been covered before

Definitely follow what Snowbird said, Either tinfoil all the electrical connections or baggy them (with elastics around the bottom). You could really mess something up by cleaning the engine bay if you're not EXTREMELY careful. Electrical problems can be a pain in the rear to track down too, Its best to be safe rather than be sorry.
