engine bay overhaul

this is what it used to look likeditry suspention mounts, th whole bay, airfilter, valve cover, pretty much everything

this is what about $25 in degreaser,sand paper and high temp paint got me...im VERY happy with the results let me know what you think

looks a lot better, now all you gotta do is replace that white ziptie with a black one, route that maf sensor plug under the hot pipe, and relocate your battery

actually a brand new filter, i let my friend spray on the protective oil and yea... thats what i get for lettin other people mess with my stuff lol

Clean the brake fluid resovoir, paint your power steering resovoir, clean or paint your IC piping, take of and paint the intake manifold, do a mild tuck [especially your MAF wire] and she will look hella good. If you wanna go farther then get some new pullies as well and paint the front of the block.

Looks better..... hopefully you fixed the fitment of the entire front end though. Unfortunately I don't think you roll around with the hood popped so no-one will see the engine bay only that front end.

i degreased with prep-all and engine degreaser then sanded everything down with 320 grit sandpaper and taped it all off

haaha nope, just took out what i needed and worked a section at a time

this is just the first step in all this im looking into a wire tuck and relocating my battery, i already painted the front of the block tho and i have some megan racing underdrive pulleys im just waiting to put in when i have a ride to auto zone for a belt, painting the int manifold is a mad amount of work...im just saving $179 and getting my *isis manifold

haha yea it was just the only old pic i could find to show the motor
