I've been trying to make a list of everything I can do to clean up my engine bay, (Not dirt cleaning, but removing and relocating components) and i have a few questions that maybe someone could answer.

Can the airflow sensor be relocated in the system by simply extending the wires or will this disrupt the calibration of resistance/wire length?

I want to move the sensor to the left side of the car in front of the throttle body but don't know if i need a calibrated wire length to the ecu.

I've heard a few people have removed the entire AIV system, which i plan on doing to make more room for a future turbo install. Can the AIV be removed by simply capping off the port on the downtube, removing and capping the vacuum lines, and unplugging the solenoid, or do i have to do anything electrical in order not to disrupt the ECU's proper function?

So far i plan on removing a/c, the AIV system, relocating the battery to a sealed rear box, rerouting fuel, vacuum and cooling lines, bypassing coolant lines to the throttle body, switching to electric fans (and possibly electric driven water pump), getting rid of every bracket, shroud, vaccum line, cooling line that i find unecessary to vital systems function.

I'm planning on replacing all the fittings and connectors for fuel and cooling with AN hardware and some aeroquip braided hoses.

I'm also considering rerouting and relocating stuff like coolant overflow resirvoirs, power steering fluid reservoir, possibly adding an oil system accumulator reservoir and a remote oil filter.

I'ts a long list and it only seems to get longer becaue everytime i find one thing i can simplify two more become apparent to me.

Anything else i should add to the list to reach my goal of having a clutter free engine bay?

sounds good to me, just whenever you do all that, go throught what little is left and take out what you can of that
