If any 2.5'ers are interested in the K&N and/or Stillen Front Strut Bar, here is how it looks. And there are no clearance issues with the heat shield as there was speculation about that awhile ago...

I like the set up! Looks like Stillens and Racingline's STB are in the clear for all intakes.

I'm not too sure about that. I have the AEM intake and the Racingline STB. The STB sits right up against the heat shield. I don't think that the Stillen STB would fit with an AEM intake, due to it sitting farther forward than the Racingline STB.

Hey I was looking to buy the sway bar and I already have the K&N. How much room is between the heat sheild and the strut bar? Do you have any more pics?

There is little to no room between the heat shield and the strut bar, in fact the rubber on the heat shield almost touches the sway bar.

Thanks man, the STB works, it not just for the look really, its a performance part f1st and aesthetically pleasing 2nd...but I noticed 10x more of a difference in handling and stiffness when i installed the rear sway bar.

Wow, that front tower brace is beautiful. I wasn't aware they made one.

Yep! stillen makes one in that silver, and racingline makes one in silver and black.

And the main reason in having one is for handling right? Or does it not make that much of a difference?

HANDLING and reducing body roll...

I have the racingline front strut tower brace (comparable with stillen) and my impressions can be found Here!

It is absolutely NOT just for looks by any means.

So Stillen or Racingline for a STB? Racingline looks a little more reinforced.
