So, this is one of my first posts, aside of some tech help I kind of ADD'ed my way into earlier, so howdy folks, nice to meet ya.

I don't generally bother much with forums, as they tend to be fifty thousand morons who talk out of the wrong orifice, some five thousand that honestly should be denied the right to speak at all, both of those types desperately trying to drown out the fifty or sixty people that actually know what they're talking about with truckloads of BS.

With that in mind, I'd like to see if there's a few of you here that have swapped a nonstandard engine into the 95+ 240. What I'm needing is any measurements you might have made of the engine bay for fitting the engine properly. Particularly measurements from centerline to the steering shaft, and the placement of the crossmembers. Or, if you happen to know if there's any diagrams (I know there's an LS1 swap kit out there, which might have an empty engine bay diagram for locating the new mounts, that'd be extremely helpful). Anyone got anything like that?

If you're curious, the engine I'm looking to fit is a Ford Modular, as per the 4.6/5.4 V8 in ...well, a lot of their cars and trucks.

No bites? The parts folks around here aren't quite clueless, but this isn't really need-to-know info for a dealership, or even a mom and pop shop, so its hard to get ahold of.

Oh, and happy new years, folks. (=
