Engine Banks 1&2?

2009 M35x : which side is bank 1 as which is bank 2? I'm seeing conflicting information on the internet (go figure).

I'd bet good money that for the V6 engines bank 1 is the right hand side, while seated in the drivers seat facing forward.

... but confirm with your owners manual. The technical & consumer info section, about 7 pages in you should see both engines sketched & labelled.
