Knock sensor or dirty MAF sensor, at least that is where I would start. Search the forum, plenty of info here..

Mike,Thanks. I was at the dealer today for a 120K check and he asked where I bought my gas and he told me to move to either Exxon or Shell premiun. The soon to be ex has been driving it and she bought at QT or Racetrack. Service Manager said they are not very good. He put in some 44K I believe it's called and I filled up with Exxon. He seemed to think that should fix it. Will give it a try. Looked at the forums for the MAF sensor but with the descriptions they posted it didnt' seem like the issue.

You were set upon the path of rightness. The 44k will clean the internals up, but if you can drive it hard to take advantage of the cleaner, do so. Low octane fuel will cause problems, but clean the MAF too, it's a cheap "to-do".--Mike
