i have a 2004 altima with engin light code P0420 catalyst system efficiency below threshold bank 1, i need some help if anybody can help me i will apreciate it very much thanks steve rod.

I had the cipher ran on my 2002 Altima 2.5s and the cipher was P0420, agitator ability beneath threshold, the guy said it's either the lower oxygens sensor or the catalytic advocate is starting to go. Which one is it acceptable to be?

Well I batten with the Dealership and they ran my vin # and there are no recals for the cat and I am out of the 8yr/75K assurance on the cat. I accept 90K afar on it. It's absolutely cat. They wish $800-$1000 for the cat and labor.. F that.

Should I get the cat anchored and advertise the car. I looked up the cat online and the amount for an OE cat was $230 at Advance and Autozone. Should I acquirement the cat there and accept a artisan install it
