energy suspension control arm bushing question

well i just poped out the old one and saw 2 little nubs on the inside. the energy suspension unit has no holes whatsoever, do i just push them through?

also, does anyone know if i have to remove the 2 metal edge rings? the instructions doesnt say anything about it

those nubs you see along with that silver ring is still part of the old bushing. What you have to do is carefully cut threw that silver ring making sure not to cut into the actual control arm. It will then pop out and you can put the new bushings in.
