I want to tighten up the Maxima's front end... just got off the phone with Fred and remembered - even though the vibration etc is gone now thanks to balancing/alignment, it could use a little "play" taken out of it. With over 100k on the factory bushings, what are the key & easiest things to replace? I'm not looking to make the car an AutoX or any of that stuff, just to tighten the steering feel.

If I could get a few questions answered, I'd appreciate it: 1. what main things to replace2. where to order from3. approx cost4. approx install time

THANKS!

(Cullen, I know you have helped answer these questions before.. I just have crap memory. And now I am finally ready to do something about it haha)

If you want to tighten the feel, just get front sway bar bushings and end-link bushings. You will notice a night and day difference in the car believe me. If you are looking for a moderately short install time and since you are not going to do any autox, I'd stay FAR away from the control arm bushings on the max.

Hopefully when Scott(maxhopper) gets back in town he'll see this and post up where he got his bushings. I thought I got them for cheap but he found a place that deals purely in suspension bushings. Can't really remember the name of it right now.

BTW, I've been out of town since thursday and I lost my phone charger , so sorry if you've tried to get ahold of me, but I'll call you later around 10pm

Has anyone ever installed the lower ball joints from suspension.com on their 4th gen? (Instead of buying all new control arms?)
