A great resource for Nissan Sentra, Infiniti G20, 200sx, Pulsar, NX1600, NX2000, Tsuru, Primera and Sunny owners.

Anyone running them? I'm looking to get some, and was just wondering if anyone has used them on their car. I have an 02 spec v, let me know both good and bad if you have used them, I also saw a weapon r engine damper that I'm considering. I did a search and didnt see anything about energy motor mounts, so let me apologize in advance if this question has already been asked.

ThanksRyan

Mounts are considered a must by many SE-R owners. They drastically reduce wheel hop, planting the front for better grip on acceleration.

Buy them, you won't be disappointed. Afterwards you need to go by the stealership and have them raise your idle to around 950. If not, every time the fans kick on it will cause an annoying rattle because the motor is that much stiffer.

My brother had them on his '01 SE...and they were definitely a night and day difference. Definitely pick them up.

Will do, and I work at a stealership so I stop by one every day. I've noticed my fan kicks on a lot too so that would be a whole lot of rattling. Thanks for the imput guys.

energy is a brand they do mostly suspension poly urethane parts. These are inserts for your motor mounts to eliminate wheel hop/make the motor more stiff in the engine bay. Its kinda like the same effect you get from an engine damper, which i am also looking at from weapon r.

The have less flex than the stock rubber motor mounts, so less energy is lost and more is put to the ground (and goes down more smoothly - i.e. the no wheel-hop deal).

I just ordered some myself. I have an 01' SE, so I'm hoping I'll get a lot less slop between shifts.

As far as raising the idle, is this a definate must? The metal shroud around my second fan (the one that comes on with the AC) seems to rattle and resonate producing a funny noice. I suppose the stiffer mounts will make it worse?
