end plug dropped in engineo

where does the frount end plug (valve cover gasket half moon) go when it in dropped in engine? how is best wat to find it? I feel stupid!!

The little hard rubber half moon on either end of the head. The Valve cover sits down on them and the gasket. I think on some gaskets, it is attached.

Probably endedu p jammed in the timing chain? Either that or it went all the way to the pan.

I could see it trapped in the chain. Them impatiants took over and I knocked it all the way down I guess. Removing the oil pan is what I thought I would have to do. Thanks for answering.
