Yeah I like the "hello my name is" idea along with the name cards for the cars too. So many times at meets I forget the persons name the next time I see them at another meet.

im liking both of those ideas with the "hello my name is" and having a piece of paper in your car with your forum ID and real name below. Would make it easier when talking to everyone.

On a side note, we still need a few more things for the meet. If your bringing something and havent posted it here so Doc can update the first page then what are you waiting for!!! Who else is going to bring stuff? Doc, put me down for the cooking tools. I think i got a set or 2 lying around somewhere. Someone else better bring some just incase!!!

We Still need:

Coolers w/ ice (I say at least 3 more)ChickenThe utensils to grill like spatulas, those big forks, tongs.Aluminum trays to keep the food warm.Aluminum foil.Table weights (to keep the plates and napkins from flying awat)Condiments such as mayo, ketchup, relish, chopped onion, sliced tomatoes, leafed lettuce, tortillas, salsa, guacamole, etc...Sides like rice, beans, potatoe salad, pasta, etc...

I will see what I can come up with as far as name tags. Would be nice to have some name tags that said NicoClub at the top instead of Hello My Name Is.

Blake, you want to meet up on the 101 again for a mini train to Stillen?

Rob, Put me down for some beer, plastic cups, and plastic silverware. I will also grab up some more stuff as needed when we get up there.

By the way, Sean, have you heard any updates from K&N for our intakes?

Yes, I talked to them a few days ago. They said there production has slowed down because of the holidays. The K&N intake for the 3.5 should be out in the beginning of January. I figured they would try and push them threw so people could by them for gifts, but I guess they are doing the same thing they are doing with our cars on like 10 other model cars. hahaha

We're going to have the 2.5 liter K&N intakes in stock by the end of this week if anyone wants us to bring them down on Saturday???

I just walked back to our modeling shop and realized that the G37 is completely stripped down and in the process of getting the body kit. So, that car won't be ready by the weekend. It looks like we're going to be bringing down the Maxima for sure, and either the red 350Z or the blue Altima coupe...We're not quite sure, I REALLY like the Maxima and I kind of want to drive that haha.

If SOMEBODY (read, not me!) wants to get me a COMPLETE list of who's all going to be there, I can print up little signs for everybody's car.

They aren't going to be huge, so don't ask.

Also, if ther are any cars at the meet that aren't listed on my Fab Market thread, I'll be giving steep discounts for prototypes. I've had a lot of requests for the 96-09 Maximas and S chassis (read 240sx).

Notecards with your forum name under the wiper work well... also those "hello my name is" stickers are good as well (for your shirt) so you get to know the "guy behind the car"

Robert are you going to wear your "shirt"?(you know the one im talking about!)
yeah, I got your email... I'm gonna try to get that done to mine also!

Sorry guys, my car won't be attending this event. I know people wanted to check out my ride in person and I am sorry. The shop where I get my work done had got broken into(few days ago) while my car was there. Luckily my car was untouched according to the shop(I haven't checked).

I really wanted to attend this event for reasons. So I made sure there was enough time for my car to be done for this Saturday event. Unfortunately I can't come now with the shops situation.

Just to pass some information on.

STILLEN is most likely bringing 3 of their cars. The Altima Coupe, Maxima, and possibly the 350z. The will have items to sell and give away as well.

Speed Force racing is bringing 4 of their cars. The Twin Turbo 350z, fully built 600 hp Altima Sedan, fully built G35, and a fully built R32 Skyline. They will also be selling and giving away stuff from their shop.

Looks like this is gonna be a good turnout, and a good time. I've gotten conformation for about 50 people already, and thats not even counting the guys off other sites, or the people who just show up

Doc, go grab up some police tape and tape off the parking lot. put on a suit and tell people you are with the FBI and the park is closed. hahaha J

Just kidding, wouldnt want you to get hemmed up for impersonating a federal agent.

But do what you can to keep the parking lot clear.

You could always cone it off and tell people that the lines are being re painted.

Ok guys, we have to go about this in a very particular way. The park and rec permit center has special way they host car shows and things of that nature. However, its all on the grass, and to get that permit takes weeks to acquire.

So, this is the problem, we're technically not allowed to have a "show" in the parking lot. However, we are allowed to have a meeting. So if anyone asks, this is an annual car club meeting.

Along with that, we're not allowed to mark off any designated parking spots for the meet. However, theres a way around that too. I will put up road cones, with signs that say, "NICO bbq here". So, people will see those, and not park in those areas, because they think they will be inconveniencing people.

The only people we have to look out for are the park rangers. If anyone sees them, or they come up and ask what going on, either reference them to me, at the nicoclub tent, or tell them its an annual car club bbq/meeting. DO NOT MENTION THE WORDS "CAR SHOW", or they will slam us.

I have worked out from them to have this "meet", setup a canopy, and hang the nicoclub banner. However, there can be no affiliation with businesses and companys. So everything you want to buy from STILLEN, you have to buy from them prior to the event, and they can distribute it at the meet. They are not allowed to sell anything on the premises.

If anyone has any questions, send me an email, or ask them here. Thanks.

Blake

Anyone that's going to be at the meet on Saturday want to buy some red G2 brake caliper paint off of me?

I'm willing to let it go for 30 bucks. I was going to tackle this project today but it had FAILURE written all over it. I have no knowledge of brakes so I didn't know exactly what I could paint and what I could not. I haven't even touched the kit, so it's brand new.

Any takers?

This is the kit:http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...witem=
