Update on my new 19" Proxes TR1's. Tow Faire Tire after 3 try's at balancing and making me drive under 50 mph after each attempt sent a regional director to check the car. He said that they had implimented a new German system for balancing that some techs were still having issues with. He said that some tires were off as much as an ounce. Now balanced and worn in, the tires are great. They have excellent grip, the ride is quiet, and they are very comfortable. Anyone considering these tires won't be disapointed. Also an added bonus, the tread looks very aggresive.

I have the Toyo Proxes T1Rs on my car as well. Fantastic tires! Though I didn't have any issues with balancing. In addition, i added Nitorogen to mine. Wait until you take those tires throught the twisties, you will feel like a cowboy taming a Mustang(g-35) with incredible confidence. Their is visually no difference with the grip of the tires in the rain or in the dry. On striaght line take off, the car is firmly rooted to the ground---no wheel hop or shimmy. When I bought my tires in March, the total of tires, balancing, alignment, was about $1,189. at this point, I reallly don't care about how it wears. I just love the Proxes T1Rs. I hope they still have them when i get ready to buy another set. Actually, I am going to buy another set, and store, just in case.

Great tires! The lasted a little longer than OEM, and have a ton more grip!...and much less expensive.

I'll need a new set before the winter

The grip is un-real. The slip light has only come on a couple of times when standing on it and that was because the road had a bump in it.There is no difference between wet and dry. The other great side affect of the tire is the countless comments on the tread design. From the back with the 19 inch tires, it looks down right evil!
