As you all know, the Fredericksburg BBQ this past weekend was a great success. Im trying to see if we can get another one in before the summer is over.....

S1LVIA...umm where is the meet gonna be? And is the date aleady locked? Aug 16 would be even better, remember sunday night--monday morning people have to wake up early to go to work and (-->) school (<--). I'll probably be able to make this one, it'll give me some time to work on my friends timing (yeah...the timing still isn't on). Just keep us updated mmkay?.
Ah, I'm driving to Michigan on the 9th and don't plan to come back until the 16th or 17th. The next weekend would be better for me... I don't have school until Monday evening. And yeah, I have to be at work at 8am, so Saturday definately sounds better. I may be able to get out at 10-11am on a Saturday and be able to make it up there reasonably early.
Don't know if it matters, but thats just my situation/suggestion.

well i know my car is not gonna be ready by then, i still have 2 and a half weeks before my engine comes in and i need to get the rest of the parts for the 5 speed swap and get my car finished priming and ready to paint, but if you guys have another one im going to be there anyways not matter what, ill find someone with a 240 to go up there with , count me in when its official

I was thinking that Sunday is when everone has no work and is a real open time. This is the weekend before i move back to school to this is why i chose the day.
Im checking out Riverbend Park in the morning so see if that is an Ok spot to thorow it. Worse comes to worse, we can have the meet at Dave and Busters in WHite Flint mall in Rockville. But that may get expensive...we will see..i will keep you guys posted!

Ok, so it looks like Riverbend Park is a little too small. i will look into Lake Fairfax this afternoon. Hopefully we can get a spot there. It is close to the windy roads and its very open. We will have room for lotsa cars. If you look at SPeedfactor.org's pictures of the last Lake Fairfax meet we went to, you can see how many cars fit in that Park. THere had to be at least 400 cars there (Including 3 skylines). Oh well. I think we will be expecting like 20-30 240's if its anything like the last couple bbq's. I will keep you guys updated!

if else fails why not have it at the same spot as the last BBQ. or what about the park close to quintico base--i think its called locus shade park. I dont know to much about this park. i know a long time ago it used to have like boats(paddle etc) that you could rent and take onto the water they had a little kiddie park too. but like i said i dont know how it is now a days.
Sorry bout the delay guys! I was out of town this weekend. Lake Fairfax is a No-go....the water mine takes up all the parking area. But Burke Lake is the place to be. Because of parking worries, im saying that we are gonna meet at 11am.

I dont know how big this meet will be....I havent gotten too much feedback yet. I know a few people are coming (4-5 definates), but i dont have a positeve count yet. I can get one tho....
