Enable NAV functions while moving

All the "how to" posts I can find for inserting a switch into the VSS wire relate to pre-2011 EX...I really want to have all the NAV functions available without having to stop the car to use them!
Has anyone done this on their 2011-12? If so, can you confirm which wire is the VSS, better yet post a step-by-step?

Would you happen to know the difference between the Audio/Nav systems for the 2010 and 2011 models? I believe the 2010 got new Nav software, but I'm not sure if the hardware is the same as the 2008-2009 or the 2011+ models.

If you can confirm that the 2010 and 2011 models have the same hardware, then go ahead and use the 2010 FSM to find the right wire. Otherwise, I'd put in a request with one of the moderators to have them to post up the 2011 and newer model FSMs in the manuals folder on Nicoclub.

If I ever get to it, I'll do the mod on my 2008 and try to post a step-by-step thread as well.

Thanks for response; dealer says different wiring for 2011-2012....they won't do the mod.
