emmissions removal/heater core hose question

cant find this answer anywhere

i have the upper intake mani off, and between running between a couple pages and then outside to make sure its right people talk about completly getting rid of the vac tubes on backside of lower mani.

one of these isnt a vac but it is connected. its the heater core hose, goes into a sensor or something, then it t's off. the bigger tube runs straight and i believe goes towards thermostat, other one is a smaller one the goes around the intake mani and connects on outside right under tb.

i read to pull and cap them off (the t'd smaller hose) but i would imagine that since it runs unter tb, and theres antifreeze in there it should stay??

also what is it that it connects to under the tb?
