Emissions results

Hey guys. I'm thinking of buying a 95 240sx, and I just found the records for the emissions records. Interestingly, the car failed, then passed the exact same day. Perhaps you can shed some light on the results.

that is odd. the only difference i can see between the 2 sheets is the one that passed has this "AES ID No : 416" where theone that failed has only N/A for that. They look pretty much identical other than that.

sure is. it looks like the actual emission part was fine, but the gas cap issue doesnt seem like a big one. i just dont want to overlook any enormous red flags.

But all the emissions results at the bottom are the exact same though, and the gas cap failed both times. Maybe some extra money exchanged hands the second time around.

Ahh how i wish i had a 95 instead of a 96.. Stupid obd2!!!! AHHH WHY SHOULD A CAR THAT PUTS OUT LOW EMISSIONS FAIL @#$%!

If they don't have the adapter piece to test that gas cap, it gets an automatic pass. Happened on my F150 once.
