I Got this qoute from sr20detperformance.com from there motors forsale page. "remove unnecessary emissions components, install an AIV plug, " Just curious if anyone knows what emissions they remove and what exactly the AIV is?

A search will give you all the answers but in short:- AIV is an air injection system used to heat up the cat to enable the cat to begin to reduce emissions quicker. Removing it will not hurt anything.- Redtops dont have an EGR system while blacktops do (I believe, no one has proved me wrong yet)
