EMISSIONS QUESTION (REMOVED SOME ITEMS)

I removed my egr, egr control - bpt valve, PAIR valve, and carbon canister. What i was wondering is that there were a few vac lines (i pluged them), and a line off the carbon canister which i plugged. According to the fsm the thick line into the carbon canister is the line carring gases produced from my fuel tank. Like i said i pluged the line shut, but is that the correct way of doing so, or should i vent it in some way into the intake manifold, or somewhere else. I removed these to fit my turbo for my ka-t.

Ok thats good to know. I closed it temorarily by pluging the line. Ill be sure to open it next time I got to see my car(its stored at the girlfriends parents house for winter). Thanks alot man
