Before i go hunting for a CA to put in my one and only vehicle, i need to ask some stuff. Here in WI, we have annual emissions tests. no visual, just sniffer. If i get a CA, will i be SOL come testing time? Are there tricks i can use to make it pass? (ie tune for lean, run white gas?) thanks-Enzo

Sounds like you already have the solutions to your problems! A ca18DET in any car will not pass emissions.

there's a chance it could pass emissions. I've heard many a SR have. Just make sure the engine is in 100% good running condition.

Well, most people won't really know the difference as long as there is no visual....don't have a crazy loud blow off valve...

But from what i hear about the sr(which i have and still need to get inspected) If you use something like a SAFC and lean out the motor quite a bit, it will pass. Also have a cat. but that pretty much goes without saying
