Ok so I just installed a new(er) KA in my car which has all the emissions junk removed. I'm in the process of cleaning everything up and making it look as neat as I can. I read in one of the threads on this topic that there is one line which delivered built up vapors from the gas tank to the intake manifold that I should NOT plug or cap since it could create too much pressure in the gas tank. But now I can't find that thread and I want to make sure i know which line that is.

Cool thanks. That should confirm it's the one I thought it was.

i work at a emissions facility here in AZ. Sounds like your talking about the EGR. You will need it in order to pass the carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons that your car will be emmiting out the exhaust. Not to mention the visual inspection. Here we dont inspect for a EGR. we look for air systems and anything noticeable., and of course a cat converter.

Yeah that line follows the fuel lines along the passenger rail up to the engine bay. I just pulled off the rubber hose and let it sit there.

Leave the charcoal canister and run that single line to it so the fuel vapors go inside and get destroyed. Unless of course you like your car 'Well-Done'.

Too late. Canister is history. I suppose I could grab one at pull-a-part if there's a real reason for it, but I've seen a number of people on the forums who have deleted it without any issues.
