emissions canister, do i need it??

Do i need this hooked up?? My car is exempt from emissions becuase of where its titled at. If i cap everything off, will the car run differently?? this is on rb20 s14.

I haven't had mine since day one. All I did was cap the vaccum ports for it and never had a problem.

Also I didn't hook the wiring for the solenoid that makes it work back up after cutting from the ka harness. I dought anybody did.

It's just for recycling vapor, as long as you plug them tight no problems.
