I searched and I did not see any topics on this. I apologize if this is a repeat. I searched on yahoo and even google it and came up with no answer. Basically I got like three weeks to try to pass emission. Has anyone have any luck passing? What the hell can I do? Ohh im located in Illinois.

eh, it really all depends where your at. In most places your going to have to choke the ***** out to get it to pass. Id put the stock 240sx exhuast on it, that should work.

Yep, its been done. Make sure you got a fresh cat on there and no exhaust leaks. My can is no where near tuned to be healthy, full stand alone and no emissions controls at all except the cat i passed 2 weeks ago in CT.

There wasnt a exhaust on the car when I brought it. I have a test pipe right now but im going to pep boys tomorrow to buy a cat. I dont have a safc. With the cat I should be good? Everything is pretty much stock. I just have a apexi intake a 3 in. hks catback with downpipe.

Most people don't have a problem with just a CAT. If the motor is tired and you're burning oil you might not pass though.

Cats are cats, just get one with the right size inlets and outlets and it should be able to handle any volume of gasses you put through it.
