I took my car to the mechanic to have him adjust my brakes, because they werent working to well. He also tightened my E-Brake line, alot, and i mean a lot. So i was driving and was parking my car, when i pulled my brake and heard a snap, and my car started to roll.-_- i have no ****in e-brake now, what should i do?

Get under your car and find where the cable broke. For me it was right as the single cable exits through the floorpan just in front of the rear seat and becomes two cables.

k the guy fixed it, said the cable had been stretched, now it jus hold my car in place, a parking brake now, no more initiating slides for me, about 5 clicks into the e-brake handle it starts 2 work and after that its useless, wat should i do?

he broke it. Did he replace it with a new cable or "fix' the old one? cuz if he didn't put a new one in make him. And make him tighten it properly this time, so its tight, but not hypertension.

well when i pullled it the 1st time when it made a snapping noise, it didnt work, he looked and said that it had been stretched 2 much, and he put it back in place and tightened it. Should i just tighten it myself?

if you trust yourselfwhat you gotta do is tighten a little, try it out, tighten it again, until you find what feels comfortable. That way you wont risk doing it again.
