Hey,This is not your typical "How do you wire this to that?" question. My question here is: If the plug from engine harness that connects to the ECU is busted, will it still work? What I mean by busted is the housing is ALMOST broken in half. It's not all the way, but pretty close. The wires are still inside each pinhole (3 of them kinda fall out, but can be put back easily). Do you guys think this will cause any major problems?? I am asking b/c I bought this harness from a fellow board member and he stated that the harness was in good condition so I bought it from him. After waiting a month or so and still no harness, I started emailing him frequently and I would rarely get a response. And when he did respond, he seemed upset that I was asking for my harness. So I finally brought up the "legal action" thing and I'm think he broke the harness on purpose. Ooops, didn't mean to write all that, just needed to vent. Anways, will the broken housing cause any/serious problems??? Thanks in advance!!!

The connectors only come out when the harness is in half. other than that, it stays put. I tried to super glue the housing back together, but that was a failed attempt b/c the tension of the wires were causing each broken half in a different direction. Anyways, once I duct tape everything, I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks again for all your responses!!!!

You can swap the plug for any 89-94 ka plug. Just move one wire at a time so you do not mix them up....Mack

Hey,Thanks Fast-Datsun!!! Do you know if a newer harness would work as well (95-96)? I have an extra one laying around. If not, do you know where I could get just the plug part from the older harnesses?? Thanks again in advance!!!

Oh, if you can, could you take a real good pic of it so I can verify that it's the right plug?? (I'm gonna count the rows and columns and compare it to the SR plug). Thanks!!!!
