We've run into a problem with the rear agx on my '89 hatch.

Question is, do you use all of the factory hardware, (ie: bumpstops, etc,) or do the new kyb boots that I bought have the bumpstop in?

The problem we're having is that one of the kyb boots wants to slip over the lip on the piston and then it "clunks" in the mounts and wants to hit hard. Also, it only does this on one side, (drivers,) even when we mount everything the same, without the factory bumpstop.

any ideas?

Thanks,

Ben

Hello,

I just finished installing my AGX w/ TEIN S-TECH. And you need to use everything from the old strut including all of the bumb stops and push the boot past that point where the first bump stop is supposed to go (ie the flat silver thing)

Yeah, we figured it out about 5 minutes after I posted this! Thanks for the info anyway!
