hello, car is 95 240sx, 102,000k, ka24de, oil leak from rear engine oil getting fixed in 1 week appointment. Last week, i added 1 container of oil, then for abot 15 secs after driving for about 1 hour, dark grayinsh smoke comes out of exhaust, now today, added another can, after only driving for 5 minutes, LOTS of smoke coming out i am covering ENTIRE FREEWAY!! it ususally happens after accelaeration it seem, so there are times when its normal then all of a sudden LOTS of smoke comes out, so its not constant WTF is wrong??? thanks to all who reply!!

rings or valve guide seals. typically a valve guide seal causes the smoke when you let off the gas after sustaining a steady speed for a short time then give it gas again you will get a few secs of smoke then it will clear up. Rings are usually more profuse and the smokeing lasts quite a bit longer.
