Its a '93 240SX with a blacktop S13 SR20DET and Apexi Power FC with 550cc injectors.

Its been giving me troubles lately. The manifold-to-Turbo came loose and is leaking from there. Then the other day I'm driving the car and I can't get it to rev passed 4k without stumbling and bogging and the abundant smell of gas. When this happens my Power FC reads Injector duty jumping from around 13% at 3k to around 80-100% at 4k.

I was gonna take it to the shop tommorrow, so I went to start it today and see if its any better....

Now when it starts it bogs and studders at 500 rpm and when I floor the accelerator it will get to 2k and stumble and bog and again smell of gas. The power fc again reads injector duty at 80-100% at 2k rpm while stumbling and bogging. I popped the hood and heard ticking comming from where the injectors are.

I didn't dare to drive it. What is going on here? I'm having it towed to the shop in the morning and I work in the evening so I wanna get as much info about the problem as possible. PLEASE HELP!

If your not spooling up the turbo because you have a huge leak then That is your problem. Tighten down the turbo!

I can hear the turbo try to spool when I rev it to 2k, but when it bounces up and down I hear the turbo. You think it can be something as simple as that? How about the injector duty reaching 100% at 2k?

YES--tighten that thing down. The turbo will still be working--just not enough AIR for all the fuel that is going in there.

Alright...just so happens it all came loose a little while ago for the 6th time and I just been busy with work and things just kept getting worse and worse as time went by driving it like that. Thanks, I think I can sleep a little easier tonight. I'll update tomorrow after the shop.

Well, we fixed the leak. But its still doing the same thing. He thinks it has something to do with the harness or ecu and maybe the computer isn't picking up signals from sensors, when we looked at the harness where it connects to the Power FC it looks horribly connected with tape holding stuck wires together and some wires hanging out. Maybe that will explain why I never got a TPS signal at all. Its running super rich, blowing out tons of smoke and bogging and stumbling. He thinks maybe there isn't a Mas Air Flow sensor reading, amongst possibly other problems. Hopefully he can fix it soon, its not drivable the way it is now...and its my daily driver...

If you have a hack job for wiring I would get it professionally done--You have to have a tps to run right!!!
