I know an emergency on my part doesn't constitute one on your part. But any help would be great.I did a ka24e to ka24de swap in my 240. When I hook up the negative battery terminal it sparks really bad. So I put a test light on the negative and the touch the motor and it lights up. Which to me means the motor is getting 12 volts somewhere it shouldn't. I have gone over ever connector pull them and tested and checked all grounds. Everything appears to be correct. My questions are

A test light to the negetive and to the block should not light up, this isn't some kind of reverse system or something, correct?

Also, what is the best systematic way to find my culprit?

Thanks

Ok I removed the sub harness from the main harness and unplugged just about every connector I could find. It seems to not be a ground issue but a hot/positive issue. The whole chassis is hot.
