On my way to work this morning, the battery light in my truck came on then the truck stalled and died. Dim headlights, no hazard lights, won't crack. Alternator yes? Sorry about sticking that in the wrong place, but at least it's got a ka24 in it.

Sounds like an alternator. You can be positive by charging the battery, then driving to autozone or something (if its not too far away) and getting the alternator/battery checked. If it is your alternator, i suggest getting the battery charged all the way up at autozone so you can make it home.

Replaced the alternator, took the battery to pep boys and checked/charged it. Most expensive damn alternator I ever bought. But the problem's fixed and I didn't have to walk the 45 miles back to my house.
