HOW DO I ADJUST THE EMERGENCY BRAKES? DO I JUST RUN OUT THE BRAKE SHOES THE SAME WAY I RAN THEM IN TO REMOVE THE DRUMS?

If the shoes are adjusted properly, then the emergency brake should be OK.Like you said, if the shoes are adjusted in, then the emergency brake cable has to travel too far, and the handle will "top out" so to speak before the brakes are engaged.Another thing if you don't mind: Try hitting the caps lock button so that the little red light on your keyboard is out.Typing in capital letters denotes SHOUTING.Thanks.

Easiest way is to remove the center console and on the ebrake handle itself there will be a 10mm adjusting nut. Tighten it until the ebrake has about 6-7 clicks.

Good advice, but I wouldn't do this until the shoes are set properly. In most cases, the e-brake will come back to normal if the shoes are adjusted properly. Let us know.
