Emergency Brake Light

Hey guys,Recently my emergency brake light has been popping on for first and second gear. It usually happens when I'm gunning it but sometimes it pops up just because I go over 3-3.5k rpm..any ideas what's going on? I know it's probably nothing serious..maybe just a sensor issue?

The first thing I would check would be the brake fluid. I was having the same problem with my car and another member was having it as well. It turned out to be low brake fluid. Like I said dude check your brake fluid and if it's near the full line add some fluid to go above the full line just a bit . Well I hope that helps you out since it helped me and the other member that was having the same problem.

MOST of the altimas run a little low on brake fluid... i figured this out at the track at carlisle where there were half of us that were low.

Huh? did you have to top them off at tech inspection?

My light was on for like 6 months and i got my car inspected. The mechanic put in brake fluid and the light went off. At first it started when i was pulling out or gunning it. Then the light just stayed on after awhile.
