Emergency belt problem

hello, while at work, my car cover got tangled in my engine fan and it also took off the belt that goes around my clutch fan and i guess power steering, so oi drove it a couple of blaocks to a nearby freinds house, i had to wrestle the steering and turn off the car a few times and wait cuz the temp waent to the first hot bar...... so how do i get the belt back on????

HELP IS NEEDED AND DEEPLY APPRECIATED!!

the fan is mounted on the water pump and the belt goes to that, the PS, and crank....

What you need is a 14mm. Look at the PS pump, and find the tension bracket. Youll need to loosen the 14mm on the bracket facing the front of the car, dont remove it though. Then loosen the tensioner bolt on the bracket. Bring it out quite a ways and push the PS pump down (iirc might be up) to remove slack. Wrap the belt around its pullies and then pull on the PS pump to tighten it.

Retighten the tensioner bolt so that the belt is snug but not too snug, and allow about 1/4 - 1/2" of movement when you push on it. Then retighten the retaining bolt and ytour all set...
