I adjusted my emergency brakes. I did it at the wheel then the pedal. For the first couple of weeks they felt great. But now they are back to being useless. The brakes have plenty of meat on them. I notched it up 13 times...two from being unable to put the rotors back on (yes i know i didnt have to take the rotors off, but i prefer that way).

Is this normal for people who use their brakes on the regular (I use it every time i park)?
I hate to be like the dealer, but is this due to the aftermarket rotors like some type of coating on them? I dont think its this because the brakes felt great the first 2-3 weeks.

Shouldn't matter with the rotor... Is the handle/pedal itself just bottoming out before you apply braking force?
What vehicle is this on?

2008 M35X

The peddal goes all the way to the floor and it feels soft. It "catches", if i were to apply slight gas...1mph...the car doesnt move. However if i go on a decent incline and apply the brake the car will roll when I take my foot off the regular brake. When I made the adjustment it was stiff all the way through, I could feel real resstance at just half the traveling distance.

Before i originally made the adjustment, If i applied the brake and put the car in park, and then take the car out of park, the car jerks like it was resting on the transmission. After i made the adjustments that stopped happening for about two-three weeks. Now its startng to happen again.

Soft brakes, resting on the transmission, rolling on a hill.

Check to see if your adjustments have shifted back. If not, tighten it up some more at the pedal.
You really should never have to adjust it at the wheel...
