which 240's came with rear windshield wipers? i thoguht they all did, but i just bought a 90 hatchback and it doesnt have one, but i know ive seen them with it.

just the Sports Editions in 90, and SE and LE in 91+ I think... my 90 is an SE and has it

i have a hicas se 91 with one and a base model 91 without it. i prefer it without it looks so ugly there. i guess i just like it plain i cant even stand looking at the antenna.

I believe that the '90 SE's had it (it was part of the sport package) all SE's in 89 and 90 were hatchbacks to my knowledge. '91-'93 had the wipers on the HICAS equiped hatches I believe.....

But all in all, it may be difficult to follow this because any hatch has the possibility for the trunk to have been replaced due to the notorious spoiler leak/rust... So someone could have had a wiper then got a trunk w/o one or vice versa....

you don't really need a wiper once you get over 35-40 mph, if you have ever seen an aero test of a 240 you will know what I mean. The slipstream over the hatch clears the water off and keeps any nearly all drops from hitting it. Of course for city driving it would make night and day difference.

Same here, I have a base and a friend had a 92 hicas and I think they look better without.. Oh, and my antenna, unplugged the white control box in the hatch. Still get decent radio reception too...hmm.
