With Car on and warm up to normal op.Power BalanceSo I went thru some of this..and the first one that caught my eye was the TPS. it said .10volts and at WOT it says 3.43 or so volts is that right thought it was suppost to be .45 or is that to start.. and if anyone know the rest that would be helpful..will keep searching..

im just guessing about the following:

SECTION EC of the fsm has some relevant information. trouble diagnose section. ie it tells you how to use consult to check tps. fully closed throttle should be .5 volts and fully open throttle should be 4 volts.

power balance might tell you something. looks balanced so nothing weird happening in any of the cylinders. ie none are dead

o2 sensor reading doesnt mean much at idle. .56 would be rich which is normal for this car. i noticed it read .49 when you had it above idle which implies alternation between 1 and o which would be optimal.

idle valve at least appears to work. the percentage i assume refers to how much the ecu is telling it to stay open. i guess you dont know if it is actually getting the message from ecu though.

maf should be between .8 and 1.2 at idle

horizontal axis is angle of throttle plate, not sure how you got to .1 v unless because you have automatic or something

thanks man..will try and go over it again maybe I missed something..and yes it's and auto..the car runs fine..but sometimes when I'm trying to beat a red light and I step on it, it like bogs down like I ain't pressing on the gas or take a sharp turn and it does the same thing..and before anyone says I shouldn't be doing it on the street. Its at night 3 in the morning when they are no cars driving at that time..

A tps new is only about $40. You might want to open it up and check for corrosion inside tps. I saw a tutorial on that for another type of car somewhere.

Car should warm up to about 158 F during idle according to fsm.

I try to wait till 158 but it was taking to long..I guess that's what happen when u have a big aluminum radiator and dual altima fans at full speed and redline water wetter.. Yeah I seen the tutorial.. I guess I should take it out and see..we let u all know tomorrow if I have the time..

Well didn't get to do it till later sunday afternoon,I was going my DIY alignment and it came better than before..and didn't use anything just eye cordination and it work...back to the tps I took it out clean it number almost the same use the volts meter and adjust it by fsm and it did pick up a little better..going to order a new one and see if just the old one that is going out..will let you all know.. And for some if you still wondering how I did the alignment is a simple trick.. Jack up the car remove both tires..after both tires are removed and on jacks.. go back to turn the left signal and then turn the wheel clockwise once your hear the click and the left signal is off that's your center remove the key lock the steering wheel and just use eyes and adjust until both wheels are the same..straight..It work for me so,give it a try and it save me 160 bux..

tps seems a bit high, most people have it about 0.4v at closed throttle

thanks. I do remember that I adjusted a screw on the throttle plate position so I will try to get the throttle back to spec.

Discovered a intermitent loose O2 sensor connection with consult software. A bit tricky because O2 sensor readings are supposed to bounce around.

yup it does bounce around..Yesterday I took it for a drive while I had the consult wire hooked up..everything was ok..the tps was at .48 something and TDC was all over the place.. and the rest stayed the same..maf was 1.3 something too..I do smell some gas but can't tell if I'm running rich or it just me..battery was at 13.86 most of the time..I recorded my findings will see if I can post them..
