Dont know anything about the Emanage, but the MAF is a hot wire, 0-5 volts (closed to WOT). Hope this info helps.

BTW, how much did this Emanage cost you and what all do you have done to your car?

I forgot how much I paid for my Emanage.

My 240 has a turbo, intercooled, running "wrong" 12:1 FPR, with stock Injector. ( I know... ) Since fuel & power requirement increase, I have Walbro 255, full 3" exhuast mendrel bend from turbo to muffler, Clucth Master, boost & EGT gauge. To help throttle respone, I have 2.5" IC piping. All custom.

Never dyno. Always running way F--king rich. Thus, I have Emanage & 370cc injectosr. Stuff I should have put in 2 1/2 years ago. Wideband is in garage too.

Turbo is small. I want it that way. I am expecting around 300hp crank. The boost will maintain 7-8psi throughout the whole RPM range. On street cruising at 30mph, 2nd gear, I will get full boost before 3000rpm. What is turbo lag ?

Reason why i ask is basically i just finished my own DIY engine management setup using a Stanza ECU, a consult add-on board, a ZIF socket, an EPROM emulator, and a laptop. The laptop aside, i spent less than $200 in parts. Now i can see what my engine is doing, from A/F ratio to MAF voltage to ignition advance to injector pulse width. Then from that i can alter what the ECU does by using the emulator. Check out the ECCS forums at HybridKA. http://eccs.hybridka.com/. Granted, im still learning, but this stuff is WAY cooler than using a SAFC or similar, in my opinion.

Emanage is at least $300.

I never know 240 has an option for EPROM ECU. From what you just said, it sound like a "DSMlink" for 240sx I will check it out, thanks.

Yeah, the SOHC 240SX uses a very similar ECU as the 90-92 Stanza. In fact, they are completely interchangable. The Stanza ECU, however, has an additional set of instructions written into its code for a function called Consult. Consult allows you to hook up a monitoring system (in my case, a laptop) and view REALTIME what the engine is doing. And since the SOHC has but a single EPROM, you can desolder that, solder in a socket, and start swapping chips. Im currently using an emulator (takes the place of the chip, but connects to the laptop so i can dump a "tune" to it) so that i can change tunes at will. Of course, i have just started all of this, but to me it now makes WAAAAY more sense than investing in some piggyback that is just going to try and "fool" the stock ECU. And ive spent less than HALF of what Jim Wolf or Stillen want to put their tune on my ECU for. It might be worth a look, especially if you are still SOHC. I know there are a few people on that forum tuning turbo'ed SOHCs. You might find something of use there.
