Yeah, the SOHC 240SX uses a very similar ECU as the 90-92 Stanza. In fact, they are completely interchangable. The Stanza ECU, however, has an additional set of instructions written into its code for a function called Consult. Consult allows you to hook up a monitoring system (in my case, a laptop) and view REALTIME what the engine is doing. And since the SOHC has but a single EPROM, you can desolder that, solder in a socket, and start swapping chips. Im currently using an emulator (takes the place of the chip, but connects to the laptop so i can dump a "tune" to it) so that i can change tunes at will. Of course, i have just started all of this, but to me it now makes WAAAAY more sense than investing in some piggyback that is just going to try and "fool" the stock ECU. And ive spent less than HALF of what Jim Wolf or Stillen want to put their tune on my ECU for. It might be worth a look, especially if you are still SOHC. I know there are a few people on that forum tuning turbo'ed SOHCs. You might find something of use there.
