i have a sr20det with 550cc injectors, 255lph, t28 turbo, supporting mods, z32 maf....

i have a safc, but i hear that i cant do much with it...

i am soooo tied up on different ideas.... i can get a vafcII for 100 from a friend... i hear it has way better tuning capabilities...

i am looking into MS systems, but i dont want a diy stand alone.. i want on that can just go in, and then be tuned

the greddy emanage ultimate is a good contender, but i have no clue what all needs to be done to hook it up.... i had a guy tell me that a local shop quote it to be a 6 hour job....

the power fc is nice, but i want the D jetro so i dont have to run the MAF...but the priceof one is a little high...

how much hp will i gain going to a emanage ultimate or MS or Pfc over a safc and z32 maf??????

thanks

You can just buy the greddy N-9 plug and play harness for the emanage, no wiring necessary. Emanage Ultimate is probably as good as you can get for a piggy-back fuel controller. I did a bunch of dyno tuning using regular emanage with the same setup you have and was quite satisfied.

For a piggyback controller that is OBD2 compliant (required if your in an emissions state) the Emanage Ultimate is very very nice. You can get a MAP sensor for it and using a piece of vac/boost hose it will eliminate the MAF like you want to. It has a 16x16 fuel map that is easy to map out yourself. Just tell it the a/f you desire and start driving it will adjust automatically to give you a safe tune.

As far as gaining power with one controller vs another one it will be negligible however you will gain a lot of troubleshooting ability with an Emanage Ultimate, has an anti-fouling feature, data logging, control Nissan Variable Valve System (S14 notchback, the NEO VVL , etc), and a lot more than any other piggyback system out there. I have been using them since first getting them shipped overseas in 2005 and I love the hell out of them!!

i have the safc and z32 maf right now... i havent had it tuned yet, because i was quoted at 350 bucks to tune my safc....

my main question is, will i feel a big hp increase between my setup right now, and a emanage ultimate or MS???

im kind of tight on my funds, and if it wont increase it by 30whp or so, then im not interested in it

It will not make that big of a hp diff on a lightly modd'd motor so save your cash. $350 to tune a SAFC? Good lord it takes about an hour if you take your time! The only way $350 is justified is if they install the MAF, SAFC, make it look pretty, and then tune it. They might not be familiar with it and thats why they are booking in so much time to tune it and that makes me a little weary. Do a search there are a few threads on tuning the safc. Try it out and you might save some money for future mods.
