Ok, so im going to install my Emanage this week into my S14 with a redtop Sr20det. Does anyone have an install write-up or anything?

I think i can get the wiring done ok, (mohdparts.com) but there are other dial adjustments that i dont know where to start at. Im looking for help on setup and installation from Emanage users that have experience.

Thanks in advance,-Kyle

i think i have everything you need. i have a pdf of the jdm greddy manual for JUST the dial ajustments, software, and a walk though on how to make your own transfer cable. i also have a map if you want to mess with it, but if you do want it, it is for a different car with a different setup and will need tuning to run right, but it gives you a starting point. also search yahoo groups for emanage, LOTS of helpful info and software. the thing on how to make your own cable works, it cost me $16 to make it. if you need help on wiring i can look at my trust harness and make a wiring diagram for you, or look on rhdjapan.com. the trust plug and play harness is only $130. that might be worth your time, and only takes a min. to hook up.

I 2nd buying the plug and play harness. Makes things very easy and as a bonus you can sell the plug and play harness down the road for near the same amount you bought it for. Plus you don't have to hack up your sr20 harness.

Wow man, thanks ALOT for all the useful help!

dude, that would be awesome if you could do me a wiring diagram! I actually just bought the support tool software and cable for 20 bucks from a friend. ; )

But yea, the wiring diagram would be fantastic, i think we are going to try to put this all together tonight, or tomorrow, depending.... We are pretty confident on our ability to wire stuff, just need the diagram, and i dont mind wiring into the OEM harness, no big deal for me. :D

Thanks again man!

this sould be everything you need...

word document that i made for the wiring diagram. http://www.zshare.net/download/3152686e3bea9e/

pdf file listing some jdm cars and emanage settings and wiring info http://www.zshare.net/download/315155838cd024/

if you need anything else letme know. make sure to update the software and firmware to 1.49 from greddys website, this fixes something that causes that coil packs to burn out. which is a bad thing to others that run s14 sr's or blacktop sr's, between the pdf and the wiring diagram it easy to figure out. the wires are in different places but use the same wires from the emanage. theres also diagrams and dial settings for other SR's, VG's, VH, and all RB series motors

this may sound dumb, but have you installed to support tool cd first? i think version 1.11 comes on the cd, when you get that installed the clink on communication at the top then main unit update. once this is done install the 1.49 update and do the main unit update again and youll be ready to go. if that doesnt work letme know.

Oh ok, you know you're right. i forgot i have to be connected to the emanage for it to load up. I havent yet installed the emanage...hopefully i'll get that done in a few weeks. The problem is, im moving away for school tomorrow again, and my 240 is staying home for a few weeks until the local drift events are over for the season. then i'll take my baby to Mizzou with me.
