emanage..sell it or keep it

is it possible to tune my turbo ka with only the emanage. i only have the emanage box and wires for the ecu. i plan on buying the ignition harness but not for now im only running 7lbs. i have the tools for the rotary dials. this emanage seems so confusing compared to a safc becuase its just lights without the lap top or profec e01. is it worth tuning like this or should i try to sell it for an afc. also how do i set the rpm points for to adjust fuel. im running plain old sr injectors, wastegates set to a half bar on my t3t4 hybrid turbo. my cars done and ready to run just need to figure out this emanage, with a few minor issues along the way. by the way ill be posting pics soon.

You can use the dials to add or subtract fuel at 5 different rpm points but, I would spend a couple more dollars and get the software package. You can find the clone cable around for like 50 bucks and get the software for cheap if you need to. I like the emanage. It is a little more confusing but it is better for tuning.

Ive used it for two years now and on like three different setups, its really a nice tool if you use it correctly.

you can get the software free..... and the e-manage hauls the SAFC any day of the week you just have to know what your doing, they both do the same things but the e-manage does everything a SAFC does and then some more. Just to name a few that I'm pretty sure an SAFC can't do are, Timing adjustments, Have a boost input and tune off of that (even more so with Ultimate), Full logging capabilities, and more control over what the ecu sees and does Hell you can use the second MAF input to log a wideband too. I know without a PC (or E0-1) you can't tune it but it has so many more things on it. IMO E-manage blows away the SAFC and since you already have one your golden, I bet you could pick up a cheep laptop for like $150 to use only for tuning too, that or have a shop tune it. anyways the software can be had "If you lost your disk" @ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/emanage/ this place is a great source of info for the E-manage, there are all sorts of tips and tricks just waiting for you to find em. Seriously Keep the e-manage you will not be sorry once you know how to use it and can take full advantage of all the radical stuff it has. Peace, Pat
