After hours of time spent looking for a tune for my SOHC-T project, I've decided that the Emanage is the way to go in terms of bang for the buck.

The question is, do I go with the blue that can be had with all the goodies for about $400 or the Ultimate which will cost at least $700 with the same goodies.

I for one, don't see too much advantage to the Ultimate except that it lets you switch to full MAP instead of the MAF/MAP hybrid that the blue offers. I'm not the kind of guy who cares about having the latest & greatest and I'd rather have the cash for other mods if there will be no significant differences.

Bottom line - how much benefit is there for the extra $300+?

I'd look at it from a power standpoint. You can get by on the blue for lower boost levels, but for me, anything requiring injectors that are larger than 370cc, I would go with the ultimate.

While I haven't been on the E-Manage mailing list in a while, there were quite a few E-Manage geniuses on it. They apparently have a forum now too but I would check it out for even more detail:

The forum link is at the bootom of the page.
