The plan was to go with SAFC-II but was changed because timing could not be adjusted so now its either Emanage Blue for $280 for Emanage Ultimate for $500. The question is which... I've searched around and the main difference between them appears that with the ultimate you can remove the need of the MAF and it offers more tuning adjustment degrees...

I'm trying to debate if those extra tuning degrees are worth it in my case.... my setup is going for 230rwhp with **** load of torque:

JGS Kit (Turbonetics .50 Trim T3/T04E turbo (.48), etc.)Walbro 255 Fuel PumpNismo Fuel Pressure RegulatorSR 370CC InjectorsSR MAFFMIC3" Downpipe

Also is the Blue easier to tune than the ultimate (I would have it dyno tuned at a shop)? Does it offer more chances of passing OBD-II emissions?

My other question is there are tons of "extra" harness... which ones do I really need?

For the Blue there are = Optional Injector Harness $38.50; Optional Ignition Harness $41.80; Pressure Sensor $120.00; Pressure Sensor Harness $35.00......

For the Ultimate there are = e-Manage w/ Ultimate Harness Kit (+96); e-Manage w/ Ultimate Supplement Harness Kit (+36); e-Manage w/ Ultimate Complete and Supplement Harness Set (+132)......

Thanks all

Get the ultimate, if you ever decide to upgrade it will have room to grow with you. Also on the blue emanage its still going to be using your mafs signal to change injector flow so it wil adversly effect your timing. While the ultimate emanage drives the injectors on its own so it does not effect timing at all.

Hmmm makes sense.... so I wont need the SR MAF at all then and can sell it right? Should I bother getting any of those extra harness'?

Thanks virus77!

Hey,

I've been doing more research and it looks like I'm just going to go with blue. The Ultimate costs $500 + $90 for the harness = $600 while the blue costs $280 with harness already in the pack.. plus I don't see myself ever going over 300rwhp so I think it will meet my needs.

BTW: For future people reading this thread a good site about emanage info is http://mohdparts.com/emanage/index.html

I'm still unsure if I should get any of the "optional" harness' but more research will shed some light on them :D

For the blue emanage you need to purchase the igntion harness which goes into the slot next to the main harness. There are enough wires left over from the other harnress to repin the plug so you can have timing control and injector control without having to buy the injector harness aswell. I suggest you wire up the ignition and injector controls if you are pushing near 300 horsepower. Another thing I really recommend is using the pressure sensor to tune based of boost pressure instead of a mafs. this way you dont ever need to upgrade your mafs and its a whole lot easier to tune the timing and fuel maps. Ive ran both an KAT setup and SR20 setup over 300 hp on stock mafs. The price of a z32 mafs is $120-150 so it ends up being the same price and the pressure sensor gives alot of benefits.
