Seems like my last post went into the air or something.

I got the European version of the 200SX S13, it came with the CA18DET engine as stock and I am about to put in an SR20DET into it.

I recived some scary msg's that it was impossible to fit the SR20DET into my car due to that it is european. I can't understand why?.. You guys swaps your engines and the only diffrence is that you switch from the KA engine and I from the CA?

How did you guys solove the problems with getting the popup lights to work and all that?

an SR will fit fine. Who ever said it wouldn't should be shot.

As for the pop ups and whatnot. They're on a seperate harness from the engine. The only harness you'll need to wrestle with is the engine harness and one of the chassis plugs that connects to the engine harness.

Since I'm not too familiar with the pinouts on the 200sx, all I can tell you to do about the brown plug by the air filter (i assume it's by your air filter since on an american car it's by the battery) is make sure that all the wires go to their matching mate. Nissan uses a color code system to (fuel pump will always be such and such color, etc). Just make sure that red wire from engine harness connects to red wire on chassis harness, etc etc.
