does any one know how to fix the speed on the gauges with the hud??? \i just bought my first 240 its a 1993 with the ka and the gauges don't work what should i do??? if any one knows let me know!!!

are both not working? or just the HUD? If its just the HUD try pushing the ajuster knob for KMH/MPH turns it off. I made this mistake once wile cleaning. Felt like an idiot.

nah i tried to mess with that but the speedo and the heads up both dont work, i called the nissan dealer and they said that they had one i just thought that i could of fixed it somehow

have you checked your fuses? mine accidentally grounded out and I changed the meter fuse to no avail, only to search around a bit more and find that the stereo (or acc, I can't really remember) fuse had blown as well.

when I replaced them both, whammo, instant speedo.

yeah i tried that i checked all the fuses that was the first thing i did all were good maybe its a loose or disconnected ground

Search for tons of info about the HUD cluster. You might have a defective cluster (bad capacitors,etc). Very common problem with the HUD cluster after many years of use and overheating.

I had the same problem with my hud and I tried and tried to fix it myself to no avail. I went out and bought a new one from a junk yard for about 80 bucks. Also if you look on ebay the ones that say that they arn't "guaranteed to work or "have no way to test, so I'm not sure it works" It don't work, save the money and get one that you are sure works.
